Sites That Let You Make Money Doing Homework

February 27, 2020 by Steph Leave a Comment

If you’ve been looking for a way to make a little bit of money on the side, it may excite you to learn that there are many ways to make money by doing homework. If you’ve always been a top-tier student, this might be the perfect way to earn anything from a bit of money on the side to a full-time salary, when all’s said and done. Here are the top sites that will let you make money just by doing homework.

Best for Highly Qualified People: Tutor.com

People who already have lots of qualifications can absolutely benefit from the way Tutor.com is set up. It’s an online tutoring service, which means that it’s actually much more expansive than just doing homework.

Tutor.com does require that its tutors be highly skilled. To become a tutor, you have to have substantial professional experience with a subject, whether that means having a degree in it or just having teaching experience, then pass a rigorous vetting process. If you’re able to stick with it, however, you can definitely make it a full-time job.

Best for Working With Kids: Growing Stars

Growing Stars mostly deals with kids from grades 3-12, or approximately ages 9-18, helping them to succeed in a variety of target areas. Kids tend to receive around two hours of one-on-one tutoring per week, and you get to determine your own “area of expertise” so you can teach whatever makes you happiest.

Similarly to Tutor.com, you’ll have to pass through a fairly substantial registration process, as it is an online tutoring system. However, you’re more able to claim expertise with Growing Stars, as it’s geared toward younger kids.

Best for Setting Your Own Goals: Upwork

You may never have considered this for doing homework, but freelancing platforms like Upwork are great if you have any sort of skill that you can offer other people. If you want to sell homework completion services, all you have to do is create a job listing on Upwork for those services.

This definitely requires a lot more self-direction. However, if you’re able to advertise yourself well, it makes it easier for you to define yourself. You don’t have to stick exclusively to the homework mold; you can determine what you want to sell.

Best for Making Money Without Much Work: OneClass

If you’re looking at all of these and feeling like it just takes too much work, OneClass could be the answer. With OneClass, you can earn money by contributing with your notes and by helping people understand homework questions.

Official Note Takers, who go through an official vetting process, can earn a flat fee per course. If you don’t feel like going through that process, however, you can still upload notes and other documents for your courses, then earn gift cards for it. If you’re already going to take notes for your classes, why not upload them at OneClass and make some money doing it?

Is It Worth It to Try and Make Money By Doing Homework?

The different jobs available for people with these skills vary widely in difficulty and extensiveness. If you’re a college sophomore, you might not want to spend the time necessary to become a tutor at Tutor.com. However, students of all ages and qualifications can use OneClass to upload documents and get rewards for doing it. It’s all about where you are right now and what qualifications you’re ready to offer.
