Whole Number and Place Value

Whole number consists of all the positive integers along with 0. The place value of a digit in a Whole Number is said by the Position of the digit in the whole number. The place value of a number is ten times the place value of a number placed to the right of that number. A number can be separated into periods. Period is a group of three digits.  This table shows the place value for various positions of a number say 1435734.
