Rays and Number Ray

A beam of light starts from its source but has no end. The light beam travels to an infinite distance. Hence the light beam is called a Ray. A ray normally has no end. In Geometry the ray is described as a part of the line.


Ray

A Whole Number ray is a number line starting with zero and extends to infinity. Since the number line of the whole number has no end it is compared with the ray and called whole number ray.
