Money Math

Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and various mathematical operations are used in money Math Problems. For example, we went in a mall and purchased two jeans and 2 shirts and it costs us $ 3032.35. We don’t have change in return, in this case, we give him $ 3500, he will return us $ 467.65. Here we have used subtraction for calculating money. One more thing is that both currencies must be similar for whatever operation is going to be performed (addition or subtraction or multiplication or division). Money can be both in the coin or note form.

Money Math For Kids includes process of solving money problems. Children of lower grade can learn how to identify and count currency notes. Money problems can be understood by attaching labels to currency. This label contains the amount written in big size so that kids can easily recognize the amount. Money can be written with sign of currency. At the starting level, it can be written without currency sign so that children can easily understand it.
