How to Find the Circumference of a Circle with a Radius of 10?

Circle is basically a shape formed by Set of points around a Centre Point. The distance of every point from centre point must be equal. When we calculate the distance of any point from centre point then this distance is called as radius of Circle. Circumference is the boundary of circle which is formed by set of points. Let us see how to find the circumference of a circle with a radius of 10.

Basically circle can be defined as curve that divides the plane into two parts; one is interior part and other is exterior part. In order to calculate the circumference we need to discuss few terms:

Radius: Radius is the distance of centre point of a circle to boundary of circle.
Diameter: Diameter is twice of the radius or we can describe Diameter as length of line segment whose endpoints are at circle boundary and these two points must pass through centre point of circle.
Circumference: Basically circumference of a circle is the distance outside of circle or we can say that outer boundary of circle is the circumference of circle.

Let us see how to calculate the circumference of a circle when we are given the radius as 10:
We can find the value of circumference of circle if we are given radius by formula:
C = 2πr,
Here 'c' is the circumference of circle.
'r' is the Radius of Circle.
If radius of circle is 10 then we will put this value in formula to get value of circumference:
C = 2 * π* 10,
C = (2 * 22 * 10) / 7,
C = 62.8571.
