In mathematics we describe Ratio as a rational number. This number is may be in the form of decimal number. Let us have a brief introduction of how to do ratio tables. A ratio table is made of rows and columns. This ratio table is a very effective method to learn how to understand the ratios. This table is made of different ratio values. We can find different iteration values by multiplying it with same ratio.
Here some instructions are given in order to solve ratio tables:
1: As we know that a table of ratio is made of rows and columns then we select a row from vertical table and a column from horizontal table. Just for an example a column in right most side has a value as 5 in first row, 6 in second row and 8 in third row. Now we can select any of two rows from the rows.
2: Now we have to find largest common denominator, this a value which can divide both selected rows. For example if we select 6 and 9 then 3 is largest common denominator for these values.
3: Now divide both values by largest common denominator. This will help to find ratio values for ratio table. If we can not find largest common denominator then ratio will be of two Numbers, which we select. For example if two values are 6 and 15 then the value we put in the table will be 2/5.
4: After this we select a number which is a blank for the other numbers.
5: Now we multiply the numbers by the blank number. We can multiply both row and column.
6: Now we divide this multiplied value by the ratio value in corresponding column.
7: Repeat this procedure for all values.
