# Differential Calculus

When we talk about study of differential calculus, our primary objective is to study about the Derivatives of the function. Differential Calculus is the important part of calculus, in which we deal with the change of rate of quantities. Calculus is divided into two main parts, in which one is called as the differentiation calculus other is named as the integral calculus. To describe the rate of change of the quantity, we use the derivative of the function, and this process of finding derivative is called differentiation. In geometrical language, we can say that if we draw the graph of the function then the Point on the slop of Tangent line is the derivative.

The fundamental theorem of calculus connects differential calculus with Integral Calculus, which clearly indicates that Differentiation is just a reverse process to Integration and vice-versa. Differentiation itself plays an important role in almost all quantitative exercises. For Example; we know that in physics the derivative of the displacement of moving object w.r.t time is called as the velocity attain by an object, and the derivative of the velocity in physics with respect to time is called as acceleration.It also plays an important role in forming various mathematical equations which also used in various scientific theories.
