Binary Numbers are the numbers with base 2. Binary numbers which are represented in form of 0 and 1. Binary numbers are used to represent all the electronic data which can be processed on computer, calculator or any other machine made of electronic circuit. The mathematical operations performed on the binary numbers are addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Here we are going to learn how to perform division in binary numbers.
Binary division is the same as normal division. The rules to be followed while performing binary division are:
0 ÷ 1 = 0
0 ÷ 0 = 0
1 ÷ 0 = 0; Remainder = 1
1 ÷ 1 = 1
While performing the binary division, binary subtraction is also used. So, the borrow gets moving towards the different columns from hundred's to ten's and from thousand's to hundred's. The remaining process is same as normal division.
Divide 1110 by 10.
